About
I am a licensed psychologist in the areas of clinical, rehabilitation, and neuropsychology.* I completed my doctoral training at the University of Ottawa including a predoctoral internship at the University of Manitoba Department of Clinical Health Psychology.
I have experience providing adults and seniors assessment and intervention for various difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and cognitive difficulties. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who are adjusting to life following injuries and illnesses such as brain injuries, physical injuries, and medical conditions.
Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I start by attempting to better understand your day-to-day life including any challenges you may be experiencing as well as areas that are going well. We will collaboratively establish goals for your sessions and attempt to work towards these goals together. I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness, acceptance-based, and emotion-focused approaches when working with patients.
*While I also provide neuropsychological assessments, I am not offering these services in this practice at this time.
